Our permanent exhibit is housed in the historic Carnegie Center, where we highlight Lorain’s early history, thriving industries, and waves of immigration that helped shape our city. This beautifully designed space captures the spirit and uniqueness of Lorain in a truly compelling way.

100 Years
Vine Ave.

Join us in “Celebrating 100 Years of Latino History in Lorain, Ohio” with this set of panels highlighting the history of Vine Avenue in South Lorain and how the area became home to many Hispanics and Latinos that moved to Ohio. Learn about Vine Avenue from people who remember growing up there and find inspiration in their stories for preserving the culture today.

Veterans Story Walk

The Latino Lorain Veterans Story Walk highlights the experiences of Latino Veterans and their service in the military. This exhibit is intended to give a voice to Latino Veterans and educate those who have not served in the military.
